Dr. Allies hails from San Jose, CA, where she spent her formative years. Her journey in veterinary care began at UCSC, where she worked her way through school. Remaining in the local area, she immersed herself in the field as a Veterinary Assistant and dedicated caretaker at an Alpaca ranch. Her passion for animal well-being led her to the prestigious UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her degree in 2012.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Allies finds joy in life's simple pleasures. Alongside her husband, she cherishes moments of relaxation at home, savoring great food and wine in the company of their beloved pets. When outdoors, the couple indulges in shared interests like kayaking and scuba diving.

Their furry and finned family members include Mya, a 6-year-old rescue pit bull; Obsidian, a 12-year-old black cat; and the dynamic duo of guinea pigs, Dumplin' McPickles and Kramer McMustard. Adding aquatic charm to their household are three fish tanks featuring Purcy, the 10-year-old goldfish, and Dot, renowned as the world's meanest plecostamus. Dr. Allies' commitment to the well-being of both traditional and aquatic pets reflects her comprehensive approach to veterinary care.
